EDM Challenges - #6 and #101
Two more challenges complete! Take a look...
EDM Challenge #6 "Draw your favorite well-loved object... or childhood toy". Well, VaaVaa is a puppet I got when my son was only 2 or 3 years old. He and I played quite a bit with VaaVaa, until Sean got old enough to play with other, newer toys.
VaaVaa went on the shelf.
We just recently found VaaVaa, and I realized what a precious time it was when we played... So VaaVaa is very well-loved!

The next challenge is #101, "Draw a bar of soap". This was part of a birthday gift. It smells wonderful!!

Lovely sketch of Vaa Vaa the lion - I bet he likes being rescued from a drawer and becoming an artist's model.

I love VaaVaa. It is so special when we can capture these family memories in our journals. Has your son seen the journal page?

Both of these drawings are fabulous, Shirley! I particularly like Vaa Vaa. I used to have a collection of my favourite toys from when I was growing up. Your drawing brought back some wonderful memories. Thanks fr sharing!

Fun drawing of va va...and who cares if the soap is girly...Girly is GOOD....wouldnt want it to be manly would we? Nice sketches! SO far i have kept up daily drawings for two weeks...its NOT easy is it?

Excellent job on the soap. I like the looseness and vibrant colors (without being circus). Also, the pen adds a lot without being noticeable. Your blog is CLAAAASSSSSSSSSSy. Is this a blog, or a web-site? It's really nice.
